Brakes

If there is a metallic squeal when braking and the brake lever no longer has any traction, then the brake pads are worn or you need to bleed the brakes.

Changing brake pads

Beginner level
While changing the brake pads, you should also clean the brake disc.

Changing the brake disc

Beginner level
You rarely have to change brake discs. New brake discs have a thickness of 2mm. At a thickness of 1.75mm you have to change the discs. Frey bikes always have a 203mm brake disc.
